Nothing was too much trouble for Mrs Trott
IN response to the letter by Tim Chant, (Postbag, February 19), asking if anyone remembers Miss Trott, the proprietor of the Salisbury art shop in the sixties. When I was at Salisbury Art College (now The Cosy Club in New Street), students including myself used the art shop regularly.
Miss Trott had an extensive knowledge of equipment and materials and was always very helpful in the advice she gave and knew many students by name – I don't recall Miss Trott being an artist herself.
I remember her as very pleasant – nothing was too much trouble.
