IT IS good to hear that an effort is going to be made to clean up Salisbury as it is a great city, but sadly we do not treat it as such.
The market square redevelopment is a great improvement, but after only a few months it is already covered with oil marks and tyre marks and why do lorries us it as a turning circle?
There should be a way to stop such intrusions.
Then what about fag ends which are all over the city, especially around bus stops?
The grass has started to be cut but again the contractors are leaving vast swathes of weeds and letting them flower and reseed themselves.
There is a total disrespect for our beautiful city.
