MAY I question any of your recent correspondents and would be lady poets whether or not they have actually seen inside either of the main toilets in the Market Square?

Because I have and so has my partner and we are at loss to understand what they are (continually) banging on about.

We found today, June 13, that they are both clean and do not smell except for perhaps a whiff of bleach.

Certainly the steps could do with a sweep and the location of the industrial garbage bins are an eyesore, not to mention very smelly.

But the toilets are as clean as they were the day in 1952 when I had to use my penny bus fare to operate the slot for a more serious sit down emergency.
