WITH regards to your story about the rescued falcon chick from the cathedral spire, it wasn’t I who rescued it when it fell from the nest.
It was Ralph the receptionist from Sarum College who rescued it and put it in a box to be taken back up to the spire.
I was the one who was asked to tell the cathedral staff of workmen where it was and that it had been rescued and they went to Sarum College and took it back.
I suppose wires got crossed but it was a good story.
