Care home is getting better
I REFER to the article in the Salisbury Journal (August 6) regarding the Cedars Care Home, Landford. My partner has been at the home for two years. I visit every day and I would like to stress that the carers and nurses provide very good care in a pleasant, safe environment.
The problems highlighted in the recent Care Quality Commission report have resulted from management problems and lack of staff to maintain the required standards. These issues are at present being addressed.
