I TOTALLY support the letter from Steve Hannah regarding litter and overgrown verges etc in our city.
Considering we are a city where we expect tourists to visit I sometimes feel quite ashamed of what they might think.
The approach by car from the London Road is an example – the route via the college to mention just one. There is a village just three miles west of Salisbury that has got a team together to keep their village free of unwanted ugliness, its a pity more people don’t feel the same way!
If everyone dealt with their own areas of litter our towns and country areas would be a much pleasanter place for everyone.
