I have lived in Tisbury for nearly 60 years.

I am saddened that there are a few people, who may not have lived here long but that have such a petty attitude to village life.

The complainers do not seem to want others, young or old, to enjoy themselves.

Tisbury has always had a caring community, raising money for several charities.

From time to time music events are held for people’s enjoyment. Some complain about the noise before the event has even taken place!

Isn’t it a good thing venues are being used, such as the football club, etc?

I believe even the bowling green has had complaints about noise. Is it a crime to laugh and talk? Because they don’t have music.

Do these people have nothing better to have a moan about – car parking, weeds, litter, barking dogs, untidy gardens, bins and rubbish? We could all moan about so many things and nothing would be done.

We should applaud the people who go through all the red tape to put amusement on, not make it difficult for them.

You know who you are, STOP COMPLAINING. Help organise events – LIVE AND LET LIVE.
