WOW! What a brilliant time I’ve had visiting 42 out of the 62 venues on Salisbury Art Trail.
I was lucky enough to have four spare days and so I made the most of it. I have been inspired, moved and amazed by what I have seen. The range of work has been staggering – ceramics, sculpture, textiles, paintings, drawings, printing.
What a wealth of talent, ability and creativity we have in Salisbury. It has been a privilege to speak to the artists and find out what inspires and motivates them and how their experiences affect their work.
Many thanks to Plain Arts for organising the event and special thanks to those artists who opened up their private space to complete strangers and took the time to welcome them in. A truly joyful experience.
