WE live on a lovely road called Ridgeway Road in Salisbury, everyone on this road is so kind and friendly.
A few of us decided it would be wonderful if we could buy a Baron for our road, my sister and I made and delivered a slips to each house on our road asking if people would like to contribute £10 to help us buy a Baron. We also thought if we did not win a Baron in the auction we would donate all the money we had raised to the Trussell Trust – nearly everyone on our street donated which was wonderful.
Unfortunately we were not successful with our Baron bid but we did raise a fantastic £330 for the charity and had a lovely phone call from Jenny Marshall at The Trussell Trust to say how grateful they were.
Thank you to everyone who donated on Ridgeway Road.
