I FULLY support Maria la Femina in her comments about keeping the public toilets in Wilton market square.
Wilton is a busy little town. The free parking for short periods encourages motorists to stop.
The present toilets are a disgrace.
They are dark, drab and with an absolute minimum of facilities.
The floor is always wet and slippery.
I have Parkinson’s disease, so a slippery floor is anathema to me.
I have asked the local council if better ventilation and some hand rails could be provided, but to no avail.
What an advert for Wilton, Ancient Capital of Wessex!
Wilton has had some interesting shops and businesses opening up in the past couple of years.
What is the first impressions visitors have of the town centre – MUCKY TOILETS – come on Wilton we can do better!
