I WRITE to thank the very kind lady, Jennifer Canterbury, who was at the Remembrance parade in Salisbury on Sunday, November 8.
My husband was at the front of the parade marching out of the market square when his medals dropped to the ground.
He couldn’t stop. Jennifer however picked them up and came round to the end of the parade and gave them to him.
We are both so grateful as they have great emotional value.
With huge thanks,
MONICA AND JO EDMONDS Laverstock
