Spend our money on historic car

IS it not time that the council thought about keeping the council tax the same as last year, as requested by the government, rather than contemplating putting up the Band D property tax by £2 to cover inflation and another £3 for the Diamond Jubilee and Olympic torch jollies?

Rather than spend £409,500 on the Elizabeth Gardens, which only the council wants, would it be possible for the council to help the museum buy the historic refurbished Scout car, which was built in Salisbury 100 years ago? It would be a nice idea if the council could build a glass garage to house it in one of the disabled parking bays next to the repositioned war memorial in the market square. This would then match the refurbished council offices in Bourne Hill.

The garage wouldn’t need a door as it would then match the front door of council offices as they can’t be used in case there is a wedding.
