Tima and I were at the same school in Nottingham, Forest Fields Grammar School. He was a year below me but in 1967, we both tried to get into the National Youth Theatre after our perfoance in a Midsummer Nights Dream. Tim passed with the beauty of his voice and I got in with my Bottom! At the NYT, actors divided into those who wanted to be professionals (like Tim) and those of us who were told by our Dads to get a proper job. But we both appeared in Coriolanus, he as a tribune with lots of lines and I as an aedile with 2 lines! He had tremendous presence on stage as shown by his Oberon. Whether he appeared as a German soldier in the Colditz story or in Evil Under the Sun, I felt proud I had acted with him. This was over 50 years ago but still fresh in my mind. You have lots of memories of Tim. I have a few but they were always important to me. Thank you Tim.
