BARNES Dennis Richard In memory of a loving family member and friend to so many, who passed away 2nd November 2020. There will be a private funeral service at Test Valley Crematorium, Romsey on November 27 at 1.00pm followed, in more settled times, with a service in Winterslow for the wider community to celebrate a wonderful life during which he contributed so much. Dennis was a teacher at Highbury Avenue School (Wyvern College). No flowers but any donations please to the Winterslow Churches c/o I. N. I was at Highbury school in the 1970's and Mr Barnes was my Geography teacher. I remember him with fondness. He was a great teacher and had such a good sense of humour and recall his penchant for apples. John Bispham.

My sincere condolences. My Dad (also recently passed) was Roy Owen, a colleague and friend of Dennis'. I remember Dennis back in 'Highbury' days as a kind, energetic, thoughtful man. Gone, but never forgotten.
