BOWDEN Arthur George, MA (cantab) Beloved husband of Joyce. Passed away peacefully on Friday 1st January 2021, aged 92 years (young). Former teacher at Bishops School, a great supporter of rugby and past District Governor of Rotary International. A memorial service will be held later this year. Sad news, I am sure his memory will last for a long time. The remarkable thing about 'Titch' was that he seemed to remember all of the pupils he ever taught. Wonderful man. Hank Hayes 1953-60

My sincere condolences. "Titch" was a small in stature but larger-than-life character and a big influence on many generations. They don't make 'em like that very often. He will be sadly missed by many.
