BIRCH Carolyn Patricia Slipped peacefully away on the 31st August 2021, at home from a relatively short but cruel illness. Much loved and greatly missed by her husband Malcolm, sons Nicholas and Alastair, daughters-in-law Sarah and Sophie, grandchildren Oscar, Hugo, Arlo, Rupert and Matilda; and sister Margaret. Former primary school teacher in many local schools and a valued member of Redlynch village. Funeral service at 1.30pm in St Mary's Church, Redlynch, on Thursday 30th September followed by the burial. There will be a gathering afterwards in Morgan's Vale and Woodfalls Village Hall. Flowers or donations to the Salisbury Hospice Charity (who have been unstinting in their care) c/o I.N. Newman Ltd, 55 Winchester Street, Salisbury.
