HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 - SECTION 116 APPLICATION

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make application to the Magistrates' Court sitting at Wilton Road, Salisbury SP2 7EP on Monday 12 August 2019 at 2pm for two Orders stopping up sections of highway. The first relates to highway adjacent to The Castle, Brookwater, Donhead St Andrew, the second to highway at Dark Lane North, Steeple Ashton.

The applications will be made on the ground that the sections of highway are unnecessary for public use. Plans showing the effect of the applications may be obtained from - and any queries directed to -Mr. Gale of Legal Services on tel. No. (01225) 718023. Alternatively, they may be inspected free of charge by prior arrangement with Mr. Gale at County Hall, Trowbridge, during normal office hours. Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all vehicular traffic: a) A363 (Part) Market Street, Bradford on Avon;from its junction with B3107 Silver Street to its junction with A363 Masons Lane; b) A363 (Part) Masons Lane, Bradford on Avon;

from its junction with A363 Market Street to its junction with B3109 Mount Pleasant. Alternative route: via B3109 - B3107 and vice versa. These temporary traffic measures are required to safeguard members of the public and competitors whilst enabling the Bradford on Avon "Cycling Festival" Event to take place. This Order will come into operation on Sunday 14 July 2019 with the exception of vehicles officially involved in the marathon, vehicles being used for ambulance, police or fire brigade purposes, or the purpose of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, or with permission being given by a Police Constable in uniform or a Community Safety (CSAS) accredited marshal. Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to: Close temporarily to all traffic: a) Market Street, Trowbridge; from its junction with Silver Street to its junction with Castle Street; b) Fore Street, Trowbridge; from its junction with Market Street to its junction with Castle Street; c) Silver Street, Trowbridge; from its junction with Market Street to its junction with Church Street. And to temporarily suspend the existing One-Way Order on Silver Street to facilitate for access for residents and business. These temporary traffic measures are required to safeguard members of the public whilst enabling the Trowbridge "Weavers Market" Event to take place. This Order will come

into operation on 13 July 2019, 10 August 2019, 14 September 2019 and 12 October 2019 between

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Southwick Road (Part), North Bradley; from its junction with Church Lane to its junction with Bradley Road. Bradley Road, Southwick; from its junction with Southwick Road to its junction with Goose Street. Goose Street, Southwick; from its junction with Bradley Road to its junction with Wynsome Road. Wynsome Street (Part), Southwick; from its junction with Goose Street to its junction with Breach Lane to enable Eurovia to carry out carriageway patching, reconstruction, surface dressing, road markings and associated works. Alternative route: via Wynsome Street (unaffected length) -A361 - A363 - Woodmarsh - Southwick Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which previously came into operation on 18 March 2019 will now recommence on 08 July 2019 for one day. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: Footpath 13 (Part), Corsham; from its junction with Ladbrook Lane to its junction with Thingley Top. Footpath 15 (Part), Corsham; from its junction with Lanes End to its junction with Footpath

16 Corsham. Footpath 16 (Part), Corsham; from its junction with Thingley Top to its junction with Footpath 15 Corsham. Footpath 41, Lacock; from its junction with Wick Lane for a distance of approximately 830m in a northerly direction. Bridleway 43, Lacock; from its junction with Sandpitts Lane for a distance of approximately 180m in a northerly direction to enable Works to be carried out on Thingley Top and to install a new outfall pipeline. Alternative route: An alternative route will be provided around the site and using the local rights of way network. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which was due to expire on 08 July 2019 will now continue in force for a further 06 months or until completion of works, whichever is the earliest. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to: Temporarily introduce a prohibition of Left Hand Turn on A361 Longfield Road West (Part), Trowbridge; prohibiting vehicles turning left from A361 on to Mortimer Street. And to temporarily close a lane to all traffic on: Mortimer Street (Part), Trowbridge - Westbound; from its junction with A361 Longfield Road West for a distance of approximately 95 metres in a westerly direction to enable Wales and West Utilities to carry out gas mains reinforcements. Alternative route: via Mortimer Street (unaffected length) - Newtown - Frome Road - A361 Bradley Road/County Way and vice versa. The restriction will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 29 July 2019 and the closure will be required until 23 August 2019. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions.
