Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Traffic Management Act 2004 The County of Wiltshire (Calne and Calne Without) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Taxi Rank Clearways and On Street Parking) Consolidation Order 2015 (Amendment No. 2) Order 2019 (Previously advertised as 2017) Notice is hereby given that on 2 July 2019 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act of 1984") and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions in the Calne and Calne Without Consolidation Order 2015 by revoking Map Schedule No. DD55 dated 6th February 2015 and replacing it by the insertion of revised Map Schedule No. DD55 the effect of which is to introduce No Waiting Monday to Saturday 8am - 6pm on London Road - from a point 30 metres south of its southern junction with Shelburne Road for a distance of 25 metres in a south easterly direction. A copy of the Order and plan may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the Act of 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984 or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Order will come into operation on 15 July 2019.

NOTICE OF MAKING AN ORDER PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT

40 (parts of) DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2019

The above order, made on 28th June 2019, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the public footpaths at The Priory, Kington St Michael. The public footpath leading from OS Grid Reference ST 8953 7785 in a south westerly direction for approximately 190 metres to OS Grid Reference ST 8937 7775 and the public footpath from ST 8952 7786 leading in a north westerly direction for approximately 218 metres to ST 8937 7801 will be diverted to new routes leading from ST 8952 7786 in a north westerly direction for approximately 21 metres then in a generally south westerly

direction for 190 metres to ST 8937 7775 with a width of

2 metres and from ST 8951 7787 leading in a generally north westerly direction for approximately 197 metres to ST 8937 7801 also having a width of 2 metres thereupon the Calne and Chippenham Rural District Council area definitive map dated 1953 shall be modified accordingly. A copy of the order and the order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Rights of Way and Countryside, Communities and Neighbourhood, Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 8JN from 9:00am to 5:00pm on Monday to Friday. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Stoke Common Lane (Part), Purton; from its junction with B4553 Cricklade Road for a distance of approximately 500 metres in a westerly direction to enable Gigaclear to carry out excavation of footway and carriageway to install chamber and cabinets for fibre installation. No alternative route is available;access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible. C166 (Part), Stanton St Quintin;from its junction with Scotland Hill for a distance of approximately 1205 meters in a southerly direction to enable Avonline to carry out excavation works and lay cable. Alternative route: via C166 (unaffected length) - A429 - Seagry Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 11 February 2019 and the closure will be required until 11 March 2019. Alternative route: via Easton Grey Road - Sherston Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 08 August 2019 and the closure will be required until 04 September 2019. Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: E) Court Street, Sherston; from its junction with Green Lane

to its junction with B4040 High Street; F) High Street (Part),

Sherston; from its junction with Court Street to its junction with B4040 to enable Bristol Water to carry out trunk main renovation works. Alternative route: via B4040 - Sandpits Lane - Green Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 15 July 2019 and the closure will be required until 15 October 2019. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Notice is hereby given thatthe Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to temporarily introduce a 30mph speed restriction on the following lengths of roads: A4 Black Dog Hill (Part) Calne Without; from its junction with A4 Chilvester Hill for a distance of approximately 680 metres in a westerly direction; A4 Chilvester Hill (Part) Calne Without; from its junction with A4 Black Dog Hill for a distance of approximately 500 metres in an easterly direction to enable Ringway to carry out bridge repairs and repainting.
