Notice is hereby given that the non-statutory public inquiry adjourned on 24 October 2019, ref: Application to Register Land as a Town or Village Green - Great Lees Field, adjacent to Pound Lane, Semington (2016/02), will resume 4 - 5 December 2019.

The Inspector will attend at: Semington Village Hall, High Street, Semington, Nr Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 6JR on Wednesday 4 December 2019 at 10am. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: A3098 High Street (Part), Chapmanslade;

from its junction with Dead Maids Cross to its junction with A36 to enable Tarmac to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated maintenance works. Alternative route: via A36 - A361 - A3098 (unaffected length) and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which previously came into operation on 04 October 2019 will now recommence on 15 November 2019 and the closure will be required daily between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00 until 20 November 2019. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) B3109 (Part), Wingfield, Westwood and Bradford on Avon; from its junction with A366 Trowbridge Road to its junction with Moulton Drive to enable Miles Macadam to carry out carriage resurfacing and associated maintenance works. Alternative route: via B3109 (unaffected length) - Junction Road - A363 - A366 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 11 November 2019 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 until 14 November 2019. B) B3109 Bradford Leigh (Part), South Wraxall; from its junction with Chalfield Road for a distance of approximately 1500 metres in a southerly direction to enable Miles Macadam to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated maintenance works. Alternative route: via B3109 (unaffected length) - B3105 - A363 - Lower Kingsdown Road - Blue Vein - Old Jockey and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 15 November 2019 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 until 20 November 2019.
