The County of Wiltshire (Park Lane and Foundry Lane, Chippenham) (Prohibition of U Turn) Order 2019 Notice is hereby given that on 19 November 2019 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act of 1984") and Order 1 under the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which is as follows: Order 1 - To amend the following restrictions in the Chippenham and Chippenham Without Consolidation Order 2019 by revoking Map Schedule Nos. CR39 and CR40 dated 21st October 2019 and replacing them by the insertion of revised Map Schedule Nos. CR39 and CR40 the effect of which will be as follows: a) To remove No waiting at any time on New Road - east side - from a point 46 metres south west of its junction with Foundry Lane for a distance of 14 metres in a south westerly direction; b) To remove Parking Monday to Saturday 8am - 6pm 1 hour No return within 1 hour on Park Lane - north side - from a point 15 metres west of its junction with Malmesbury Road for a distance of 12 metres in a westerly direction; c) To introduce No Waiting at any time on Foundry Lane - north side - from a point opposite the eastern access to Hathaway Retail Park for a distance of 134 metres in a north easterly direction; Foundry Lane -south side - i) from the eastern access to Hathaway Retail Park for a length of 43 metres in an easterly direction ii) from a point 62 metres east of the eastern access to Hathaway Retail Park for a distance of 75 metres in a north easterly direction; Park Lane - north side - from its junction with Malmesbury Road for a distance of 27 metres in a westerly direction; d) To introduce Parking Monday to Saturday 8am - 6pm 1 hour No return with 1 hour on New Road - east side - i) from the existing 1 hour parking bay for a length of 5 metres in a south westerly direction ii) from a point 46 metres south west of its junction with Foundry Lane for a distance of 14 metres in a south westerly direction; e) To introduce Loading Only 8am - 6pm on Foundry Lane - south side - from a point 42 metres east of the eastern access to Hathaway Retail Park for a distance of 20 metres in a north easterly direction. Order 2 - To introduce a prohibition of right hand turn, prohibiting vehicles turning right from Langley Road into Malmesbury Road. Order 3 - a) To introduce a prohibition of U turn, to prohibit vehicles from making a U turn manoeuvre from Park Lane to New Road; b) To introduce a prohibition of U turn, to prohibit vehicles from making a U turn manoeuvre from Foundry Lane (westbound) to Foundry Lane (eastbound). A copy of the Orders and plans may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Any person aggrieved by the Orders and desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the Act of 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984 or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Orders will come into operation on 2 December 2019.

Wraxall) (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2019 Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be as follows: Orders 1 and 2 - To revoke The County of Wiltshire (Various

Roads, Castle Combe) (Restricted Roads) Order 1997 and

re-enact it in part and to introduce a 20mph speed limit on the following lengths of road:- C151 The Street/Upper Castle Combe - from its junction with the B4039 to a point 5 metres north east of the centre line of the footbridge which crosses the by brook at Footpath 6, Castle Combe; Dunns Lane (UC 847702) - the complete length; West Street (UC 847708) - the complete length (adopted highway). Order 3 - To introduce a 20mph speed limit on the following lengths of road:- C174, Upper Wraxall - from its junction with the A420 to a point 45 metres north east of the northern boundary of the property known as No. 1 Dean Hill Cottage; C176 (road leading to Mountain Bower) - from its junction with the C174 Upper Wraxall to a point 20 metres north east of that junction; Upper Farm Road -the complete length (adopted highway); Upper Farm Road (split road at C174) - the complete length; UC 807402 (road leading to Home Farm) - the complete length (adopted highway). Copies of the draft Orders, plans and Statement of the Council's Reasons for proposing to make the Orders may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may be seen Chippenham Library, Timber Street, Chippenham between the hours of 10am 7pm Monday, 9am - 5pm Tuesday and Saturday, 9am 1pm Wednesday and 9am - 7pm Thursday and Friday until 23 December 2019. Comments on the proposal together with the reasons for which they are made should be sent in writing or via the website to reach the Sustainable Transport Group by 23 December 2019 quoting reference HKB/TRO/CCOM.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) B4553 (Part) Packhorse, Purton; from its junction with B4553 Cricklade Road to its junction with Hayes Knoll to enable Eurovia to carry out carriageway resurfacing, road marking adjustment of ironworks and surface dressing. Alternative route: via B4553 (unaffected length) - B4534 - A4198 - A419 - B4040 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 06 December 2019 and the closure will be required between

the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 until 10 December 2019. For

Millicent and Purton; from its junction with The Buffer for a distance of approximately 330 metres in a westerly direction to enable Eurovia to carry out carriageway resurfacing, road marking adjustment of ironworks and surface dressing. Alternative route: via B4553 (unaffected length) - Cowleaze -The Buffer and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 05 December 2019 and the closure will be required between

the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 until 06 December 2019. For

from its junction with Nettleton Road to its junction with Fosse Way to enable Eurovia to carry out carriageway resurfacing, road marking adjustment of ironworks and surface dressing. Alternative route: via B4039 (unaffected length) - A420 - A46 - B4040 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 02 December 2019 and the closure will be required between

the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 until 04 December 2019. For

on 07834 503477. D) C267 (Part), Wootton Rivers; from

its junction with C199 for a distance of approximately 230 metres in a southerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out works for a new sewer connection. Alternative route: via C267 (unaffected length) - C266 - C199 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 02 December 2019 and the closure will be required until 04 December 2019. For further information please contact Chris Brennan on 01672810380. Orders (a) to (d) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature

of the works.
