The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, a Conservation Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications and are available to view on our website.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Dinton Road (Part), Wylye; from its junction with Foyles Mead for a distance of approximately 50 metres in a southerly direction to enable Centurion to carry out works on the level crossing. Alternative route: via Dinton Road (unaffected length) – Dinton Beeches – Wylye Road – Marshwood – Steep Hollow – St Marys Road – B3089 – C77 – Chilmark Road – A303 – C10 and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which previously came into operation on 26 October 2019 will now recommence on 15 February 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 23:30 and 09:30 until 16 February 2020. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Longland, Salisbury; from its junction with A36 Wilton Road for a distance of approximately 160 metres in a southerly direction to enable SGN to carry out essential gas works. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which previously came into operation on 20 January 2020 will now recommence on 11 February 2020 and the closure will be required until 14 February 2020. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
A) North Street (Part), Wilton; from its junction with A30 Silver Street to its junction with Russell Street to enable Ringway to carry out footway reconstruction & the replacement of damaged kerbs. Alternative route: via North Street (unaffected length) – King Street - A30. This Order will come into operation on 09 March 2020 and the closure will be required until 20 March 2020. B) Phase 1 Hilltop Way (Part), Salisbury; from outside of property known as 70 Hilltop Way for a distance of approximately 20 metres in south easterly direction;
C) Phase 2 Hilltop Way (Part), Salisbury; from outside of property known as 63 Hilltop Way for a distance of approximately 35 metres in a north easterly direction;
D) Phase 3 Hilltop Way (Part), Salisbury; from outside of property known as 51 Hilltop Way for a distance of approximately 15 merers in a southerly direction;
E) Phase 4 Hilltop Way (Part), Salisbury; from outside of property known as 32 Hilltop Way for a distance of approximately 40 metres in a northerly direction to enable Openreach to carry out Cabling works. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses.
This Order will come into operation on 02 March 2020 and it is anticipated that the closures will be required as follows:
Phase 1: operating 02 March 2020 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 until 03 March 2020;
Phase 2: operating 04 March 2020 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for one day;
Phase 3: operating 05 March 2020 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 until 06 March 2020;
Phase 4: operating 09 March 2020 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 until 13 March 2020.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: F) A338 Pennings Road (Part), Tidworth; from its junction with Plassey Road to its junction with Merrington Way; G) A3026 Ludgershall Road (Part), Tidworth; from its junction with A338 Pennings Road to its junction with Ebble Close to enable MJ Church to carry out road surface course and road markings. Alternative route (F): via A338 (unaffected length) – A342 – A303 and vice versa. Alternative route (G): via A3026 (unaffected length) – A342 – A3030 – A338 and vice versa. H) C43 (Part), Fonthill Gifford; from its junction with Hindon Lane for a distance of approximately 700 metres in a northerly direction to enable Tarmac to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated maintenance works. Alternative route: via C43 (unaffected length) – B3089 – C25 High Street/ Stops Hill and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 12 February 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 for one day. I) Ben Lane (Part), Pitton and Farley; from its junction with The Street for a distance of approximately 120 metres in a south easterly direction to enable Openreach to carry out Cabling works to restore permanent customer connection. Alternative route: via Ben Lane (unaffected length) – Long Drove – C331 - The Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 10 February 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30. until 14 February 2020. J) The Portway (Part), Winterbourne; from its junction with Gaters Lane for a distance of approximately 1500 metres in a south westerly direction to enable Tarmac to Carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated maintenance works. Alternative route: via The Portway (unaffected length) – A345 - C292 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 13 February 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 for one day.
