BOURNEMOUTH, CHRISTCHURCH AND POOLE COUNCIL LINDSAY ROAD -SOUTHBOUND LANE CLOSURE EXCAVATION AND REPAIR OF MAINS CABLE TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic. WHAT & WHERE: Lindsay Road - lane closure at its junction with Leicester Road - southbound lane closed to all vehicles, i.e., vehicles will be unable to exit from Lindsay Road onto Leicester Road. WHEN: From Monday 9 March 2020 until Friday 27 March 2020.
WHY: Excavation and repair of a fluid filled 33,000V cable by SSEN.
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained. Access to businesses, residential homes and for pedestrians will be also be maintained.
DIVERSION: A signed diversion will be in place These arrangements may be extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations and restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months.
