The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, a Conservation Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications and are available to view on our website. Views relating to the planning applications listed below should be made by 24/09/2020 quoting the reference number. All views expressed regarding a planning application will be considered and placed on a file, which is open to the public. Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Traffic Management Act 2004 The County of Wiltshire (Idmiston Road, Idmiston) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which will be as follows: To introduce No waiting at any time on the east side of Idmiston Road from a point approximately 17 metres south of its junction with the entrance to St Nicholas Primary School for a distance of approximately 40 metres in a southerly direction.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
A) Richards Way (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with Stephens Close to its junction with Turner Close to enable Wessex Water to carry out sewer relining and associated works. Alternative route: via Richards Way (unaffected length)-Berkshire Road-Middle Street-Upper Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 28 September 2020 and the closure will be required until 02 October 2020. For further information please contact Wessex Water on 07786196910.
B) A3028 High Street (Part), Bulford; from its junction with B3085 to its junction with Orchard End to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. Alternative route: via A3028 (unaffected length) - Salisbury Road - Tisbury Road - Porton Road -London Road - A345 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 28 September 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 18:00 until 02 October 2020. C) Wain-A-Long Road (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with A36 for a distance of approximately 10 metres in a easterly direction to enable Highways England to carry out carriageway crossing for cabling of new streetlighting infrastructure. Alternative route (unsuitable for high vehicles): via Wain-A-Long Road (unaffected length)-Bourne Avenue - Riverside Road -Church Road - A30 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 10 September 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 16 September 2020. D) A345 Castle Road (Part), Salisbury - Northbound Only; from its junction with A36 Churchhill Way West to its junction with Butts Road to enable Highways England to carry out carriageway crossing for cabling of new streetlighting infrastructure. Alternative route: via A345 (unaffected length) - A303 - A36 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 07 September 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 09 September 2020. E) West Street (Part), Great Wishford; from its junction with South Street for a distance of approximately 60 metres in a westerly direction to enable Scottish and Southern Power distribution to carry out electricity pole relocation and associated works. Alternative route: via West Street (unaffected length) - Station Road - South Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 09 September 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00 for 1 day. F) Glasses Lane, Sutton Mandeville; from its junction with A30 to its junction with Sutton Road to enable Wessex Water to carry out permanent reinstatement. Alternative route: via Sutton Road - Dean Lane - A30 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 10 September 2020 and the closure will be required for 1 day. Orders (a) to (f) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
