NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF MODIFICATION ORDER SECTION 53 OF THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 The Definitive Map and Statement for the Bradford and Melksham Rural District Council Area dated 1952 as modified under the provisions of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 The Wiltshire Council Parish of Melksham Without Path No. 152 Rights of Way Modification Order 2020 On 24 August 2020 Wiltshire Council confirmed as made the above Order made under Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The above order, made on 29 January 2020 area records a footpath in the definitive map and statement for the area leading from Melksham Without path no. 66 at Woodrow Road around the edge of the field known as 'Forty Acres' by the River Avon (approx. length 1980 metres width 2.0 metres). The Order became operative as from 24 August 2020, but if any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question to validity on the ground that it is not within the powers of Section 53 or that any of the requirements of Schedule 15 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 have not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may within 42 days from 09 October 2020 make an application under paragraph 12(1) of Schedule 15 of the 1981 Act to the High Court.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Traffic Management Act 2004 The County of Wiltshire (Trowbridge) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Prohibition of Stopping, Taxi Rank Clearways and On Street Parking) Consolidation Order 2019 (Amendment No.2) Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions in the Trowbridge Consolidation Order 2019 by revoking Map Schedule No. ES26 dated 30 March 2020 and replacing it by the insertion of revised Map Schedule No. ES26 the effect of which will be as follows: a) To extend No Waiting at any time on Margarets Close - both sides - from a point 11 metres north west of its junction with A3106 British Row to a point 40 metres north west of that junction b) To introduce No Waiting Monday to Friday Bam - 5pm on Margarets Close - both sides - from a point 40 metres north west of its junction with A3106 British Row for the remaining length in a south westerly direction. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Lower Westwood Road (Part), Westwood; from its junction with Linden Crescent for a distance of approximately 300 metres in a westerly direction to enable Wales Sc West Utilities to carry out gas mains and service replacements. Alternative route: via Lower Westwood Road (unaffected length) - Iford Road - Upper Westwood Village Road - Upper Westwood Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 02 November 2020 and the closure will be required until 11 December 2020. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: B) Prospect (Part), Corsham; from its junction with Broadmead for a distance of approximately 70 metres in a northerly direction; Prospect (Part), Corsham; from its junction with Broadmead for a distance of approximately 70 metres in a southerly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses. This Order will come into operation on 16 October 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 until 22 October 2020. Q Cannings Close, Hilperton; from its junction with Leventon Place for its entire length to enable Doric Developments to carry out water connection to the main sewer. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses. This Order will come into operation on 12 October 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 until 23 October 2020. D) Clearwood (Part), Dilton Marsh; from its junction with B3099 Clivey for a distance of approximately 110 metres in a southerly direction. And to temporarily introduce a 40mph speed restriction on the following length of road: E) B3099 Clivey (Part), Dilton Marsh; from its junction with Clearwood for a distance of approximately 50 metres in a easterly and westerly direction each side of the junction to enable BT to carry out cabling and associated works. Alternative route: via Clearwood (unaffected length) - Stormore -B3099 Clivey and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 13 October 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
