The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, a Conservation Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications and are available to view on our website. Views relating to the planning applications listed below should be made by 05/11/2020 quoting the reference number. All views expressed regarding a planning application will be considered and placed on a file, which is open to the public.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Phase 1 Bury Lane, Broad Chalke; from its junction with Bull Lane to its junction with Newtown; B) Newtown (Part), Broad Chalke; from its junction with Bury Lane to its junction with Kinghton Road. C) Phase 2 Howgare Road, Broad Chalke; from its junction with Bury Lane to its junction South Street to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out Carriageway resurfacing and associated maintenance. Phase 1 Alternative route: via Newton (unaffected length) - High Road -The Causeway - South Street - Bulls Lane and vice versa. Phase 2 Alternative route: via South Street - Bulls Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 11 November 2020 and the closures will be required as follows; Phase 1: Wednesday 11 November 2020 for 1 day; Phase 2: Thursday 12 November 2020 until Friday 13 November 2020. D) C277 (Part), Teffont; from its junction with B3089 for a distance of approximately 350 metres in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out Sewer rehabilitation and associated works. Alternative route: via C277 (unaffected length) - Cow Drove - B3089 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 09 November 2020 and the closure will be required until 13 November 2020. E) Teffont Evias (Part), Teffont; from its property known as St Michaels and All Angels Church for a distance of approximately 50 metres in northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out Sewer rehabilitation and associated works. Alternative route: via Teffont Evias (unaffected length) - B3089 - C24 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 16 November 2020 and the closure will be required until 18 November 2020. F) Lybum Road (Part), Landford; from outside of property known as Ivy Cottage for a distance of approximately 10 metres in a westerly direction to enable Southern Water to carry out maintenance works. Alternative route: via Lyburn Road (unaffected length) - Hamptworth Road - B3079 - Forest Road - North Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 09 November 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 for 1 day. C) Moody's Hill (Part), West Dean; from its junction with Grimstead Road for a distance of approximately 230 metres in an easterly direction to enable BT to carry out maintenance to BT poles and associated works. Alternative route: via Grimstead Road - Southampton Road - Old Southampton Road - Clarendon Road - C289 - The Plantation -Middleton - Middleton Road - The Common - Tytherley Road - Out of County - Moody's Hill (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 09 November 2020 and the closure will be required for 1 day. For further information please contact Traffic Control 123 on 07483 301661. H) C61 (Part), Donhead St Mary; from its junction with C295 for a distance of approximately 30 metres in a westerly direction to enable Moore Contractors to carry out main sewer connection. Alternative route: via C61 (unaffected length) - A30 - C295 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 02 November 2020 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 06 November 2020. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: I) Cadley Road (Part), Collingboume Duels; from the entrance to Garlands Industrial Estate for a distance of approximately 250 metres in an easterly direction to enable Openreach to carry out pole examination and associated works. Alternative route: via Cadley Road (unaffected length) -C21 - A346 - A338 High Street - Sunton and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 19 October 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. For further information please contact Sunbelt Rentals Ltd on 0370 0500792. Orders (a) to (i) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly Indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
