1. The County of Wiltshire (Church Lane and Moores Yard, Wingfield) (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2020
2. Traffic Calming Features - Church Lane, Wingfield

Notice is hereby given that on 13 October 2020 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Order 1 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and 2 in exercise of its powers under Section 90A of the Highways Act 1980 the effect of which will be as follows: 1. To introduce a 20mph speed limit on Church Lane and Moores Yard - the complete lengths; 2. The installation of vertical traffic calming features on Church Lane - located at points 25 metres and 115 metres east of its junction with Frame Road. The raised tables will be 3 metres in length and full width of carriageway, have a maximum height of 75mm, a maximum ramp gradient of 1 in 13 and will form a method of controlling the speed of vehicles in the interest of road safety. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Order will come into operation on 30 October 2020.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Blind lane (Part), Southwick; from its junction with Hollis Way for a distance of approximately 50 metres in an easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out Manhole cover replacement and associated works. Alternative route: via Blind Lane (unaffected length) - Wesley Lane - A361 - Wynsome Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 16 November 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 for 1 day. B) Falcon Way (Part), Melksham Without; from its junction with Martlet Close for a distance of approximately 50 metres in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to replace manhole covers. Alternative route: via Falcon Way (unaffected length) - Mitchell Drive - Halifax Road -Pathfinder Way - A365 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 18 November 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 for 1 day. This Order will come into operation on 17 November 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day.
