Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Winterbourne Stoke) (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that on 14 July 2021 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is to introduce a 20mph speed limit on Brook Close, Church Street, New Street and St Peters Close - the complete lengths. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Order will come into operation on 26 July 2021.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Charlton Lane (Part), Donhead St Mary; from its junction with Charlton Lane (North to Salisbury road) for approximately 50 metres in an easterly direction to enable Going Underground to carry out New water connection. Alternative route via Charlton Lane (unaffected length) - A30 - The Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 16 August 2021 and the closure will be required for 3 days. B) Milford Mill Road (Part), Laverstock and Ford; from its junction with New Petersfinger Road to its junction with Queen Manor Road to enable BT to carry out new customer connection and associated works. Alternative route via Milford Mill Road (unaffected length) - Manor Farm Road - Riverside Road - Bourne Avenue - A36 - New Petersfinger Road - and vice versa. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: The Avenue (Part), Idmiston; from its junction with Bourne Gardens for a distance of approximately 200 metres in a northerly direction to enable SGN to carry out installation of new gas service and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 26 July 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 until 30 July 2021. The closures and diversion routes, where applicable, will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions.
