THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (SALISBURY) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING, TAXI RANK CLEARWAYS AND ON STREET PARKING) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2013 (AMENDMENT N0.26) ORDER 2021

Notice is hereby given that on 1 December 2021 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act of 1984") and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions in the Salisbury Consolidation Order 2013 by revoking IK84 (Zone E) and IL84 (Zone E) dated 25/03/2019, IL83 (Zone E) dated 18/06/2018, IM83 (Zone F) dated 15/02/2016 and IM84 (Zone F) dated 11/02/2013 and replacing them by the insertion of Map Schedule Nos IK84 (Zone E), IL83 (Zone E), IL84 (Zone E), IM83 (Zone F) and IM84 (Zone F) dated 13 December 2021 the effect of which will be as follows: To revoke No waiting at any time on the following lengths of road: Friary Lane - east side - from a point 9 metres north of its junction with the access to Lacock House Car Park to a point 14 metres north of that junction; Friary Lane - east side - from a point 44 metres north of its junction with the access to Lacock House Car Park to a point 50 metres north of that junction; Friary Lane - west side - from a point 9 metres north of its junction with the access to Glastonbury House Car Park to a point 24 metres north of that junction. To revoke No waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6pm on the following lengths of road: Brown Street - east side - from a point 11 metres north of a point in line with the centreline of the vehicular access to Chequers Court to a point 4 metres south of that centreline; Brown Street - west side - from a point 15 metres south of a point in line with the boundary between Nos. 84 and 86 Brown Street to a point 12 metres south of a point in line with the boundary between Nos. 100 and 102 Brown Street; Carmelite Way - north side - from a point 8 metres east of its junction with Carmelite Way (Southern Spur) to a point 15 metres west of that junction; Carmelite Way - south side - from a point 7 metres west of its junction with Carmelite Way (St. Osmund's School Access Road) to a point 40 metres west of that junction. To revoke Loading only 8am-6pm on the east side of Brown Street - from a point 4 metres north of a point in line with the centreline of the vehicular access to Cross Keys Arcade (Queen Street) to a point 9 metres south of a point in line with that vehicular access. To revoke Pay and Display Mon-Sat 8am-6pm and Sun 10am-4pm Max stay 1 hr on the following lengths of road: Brown Street - west side - from a point 24 metres south of a point in line with the boundary between No. 4 Brown Street and Cross Keys Arcade (Queen Street) to a point 36 metres south of that boundary; Ivy Street - south side - from a point in line with the boundary between No. 2-4 Ivy Street (Mayor Ivie House) and No. 1 St. John's Street (White Hart Hotel) to a point 30 metres west of that boundary. To revoke Parking Mon-Fri 8am-9.30am and 2.45pm-4pm 10 mins No return within 30mins and Mon-Fri 9.30am-2.45pm and Sat 9am-5pm 2 hours No return within 4 hours Except Permit Holders Zone F on the east side of Friary Lane - from a point 10 metres south of its junction with the access to Lacock House Car Park to a point 27 metres south of that junction. To introduce No waiting at any time and No loading at any time on the east side of Brown Street - from a point 4 metres north of a point in line with the centreline of the vehicular access to Cross Keys Arcade (Queen Street) to a point 9 metres south of a point in line with that vehicular access. To introduce Residents parking Mon-Sat 8am-6pm Zone F Permit holders only on the following lengths of road: Carmelite Way - north side - from a point 8 metres east of its junction with Carmelite Way (Southern Spur) to a point 15 metres west of that junction; Friary Lane - east side - from a point 9 metres north of its junction with the access to Lacock House Car Park to a point 14 metres north of that junction; Friary Lane - east side - from a point 44 metres north of its junction with the access to Lacock House Car Park to a point 50 metres north of that junction; Friary Lane - west side - from a point 9 metres north of its junction with the access to Glastonbury House Car Park to a point 24 metres north of that junction. To introduce Parking Mon-Sat Bam-6pm 2 hours No return within 4 hours Except Permit Holders Zone F on the east side of Friary Lane - from a point 10 metres south of its junction with the access to Lacock House Car Park to a point 27 metres south of that junction. To introduce Pay and Display Mon-Sat 8am-6pm, Sun 10am-4pm 1 hour no return within 2 hours Except Permit Holders Zone E on the south side of Ivy Street - from a point in line with the boundary between No. 2-4 Ivy Street (Mayor Ivie House) and No. 1 St John's Street (White Hart Hotel) to a point 30 metres west of that boundary. To make an admin change only (no changes on the ground) to the No waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6pm on the south side of St. Ann Street - from a point 2 metres west of a point in line with the boundary between Nos. 12 and 14 Exeter Street to a point 30 metres west of that boundary.

Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the Act of 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984 or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A)
from its junction with A36 for a distance of 200 metres in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out sewer repairs and associated works. Alternative route via The Avenue (unaffected length) - A360 - A36 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 04 January 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 for 3 nights. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

THE WILTSHIRE COUNCIL PARISH OF DURRINGTON FOOTPATH 15 (PART) EXTINGUISHMENT AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2021

The above order, made on 29 November 2021, under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980, will extinguish the entire width of that length of footpath, over land at Durrington Field, The Packway, Durrington, leading from OSGR SU1474-4421 in a broadly south westerly direction for approximately 354m to OSGR SU 1441-4409. If confirmed the order will also have the effect of modifying the Amesbury Rural District Council Area Definitive Map and Statement dated 1952 shall be modified accordingly.
