SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intend to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Hindon Lane (Part), Tisbury; from its junction with Beckford Close to outside the property known as Hobbs Cottage to enable BT to replace pole and associated works. Alternative route via Hindon Lane (unaffected length) - C43 - Windstrow Lane - Hatch Lane -Tuckingmill - Vicarage Road - High Street - Hindon Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 17 January 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all users: A) Footpath 9 (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with Ashley Road for approximately 262m to its junction with Coldharbour Lane. 8) Footpath 50 (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with Nelson Road for approximately 280m to its junction with Mill Stream Approach to enable vegetation clearance, tree removal and relocations. Alternative route: A) Footpath 9 (Part) - Ashley Road and Coldharbour Lane. B) Footpath 50 (Part) - Mill Stream Approach, Castle Street and Nelson Road. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 18 January 2022 and the closures will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 18:00 until 30 April 2022. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 06 months.
