St Mary Bourne Parish Council as the qualifying body has prepared a neighbourhood development plan, entitled St Mary Bourne Parish Neighbourhood Plan 2016-2029, for their parish with the help of the local community. The neighbourhood plan sets out a vision for the future of the parish and planning policies which will be used to determine planning applications locally. Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council is satisfied that the submitted St Mary Bourne Neighbourhood Plan complies with the relevant legal requirements and can therefore proceed to formal consultation and independent examination. In accordance with the Regulations, the Borough Council Is required to publicise the Neighbourhood Plan and supporting documents and invite comments.
Copies of the St Mary Bourne Neighbourhood Plan, Strategic Environment Assessment (SEA), Consultation Statement and Basic Conditions Statement are available to view on the borough council's website: www.basingstoke.gov.uk/SMBNP. The period for submission of representations will run from Monday 5 June 2017 until Monday 17 July 2017. Representations should arrive no later than 4.00pm on 17 July 2017. All representations received will be available to view publicly.
