Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Various Temporary Traffic Restrictions: Chalke Valley History Festival, Broad Chalke and Bishopstone
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to: Temporarily introduce aOne-Way traffic restriction on the following roads in the specified directions: (a) Howgare Road (Part), Broad Chalke;from the county boundary in anortherly direction to its junction with Newtown (direction of permitted travel northbound only); (b) Newtown, Broad Chalke;from its junction with C12 High Road to its junction with Howgare Road (direction of permitted travel southwestbound only); (c) UC Road (Bury Orchard), Broad Chalke;from its junction with Howgare Road to its junction with C65 The Causeway (direction of permitted travel northbound only).
And to close temporarily to all traffic (access will be maintained for residents): (d) Knighton Road, Broad Chalke; from its junction with Newtown for its entire length; (e) Bulls Lane, Broad Chalke;from its junction with Howgare Road to its junction with C65 South Street; (f) Byway 3(Part), Broad Chalke;from its junction with Howgare Road in an easterly direction to its junction with Byway 34, Bishopstone; (g) Byway 34, Bishopstone; Irom its junction with Byway 3, Broad Chalke to its junction with A354; (h) Bridleway 6, Broad Chalke;from its junction with Byway 1, Broad

Chalke to its junction with Newtown; (i) Footpath 7, Broad Chalke;from its junction with Bridleway 6, Broad Chalke
in asouth-easterly direction to its junction with Footpath 35, Broad Chalke. This Order is made to ensure public safety during the period of Chalke Valley History Festival. The restrictions will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on Friday 30 June 2017 and it is anticipated that the restrictions will remain in operation until Sunday 2July 2017. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to: Temporarily close to all traffic: (a) The Packway (Part), Durrington (eastbound direction only);from its junction with Biddulph Road to its junction with the A345 roundabout (phase one); (b) The Packway (Part), Durrington (full closure);from its junction with Tombs Road to its junction with the A345 roundabout (phase two). And to temporarily introduce a7.5T weight restriction with an exemption for those accessing businesses and premises on: (c) The Packway (Part), Shrewton and Durrington; from its junction with Rollestone Crossroads to its junction with A345; (d) Fargo Road, Durrington;from its junction with A345 to its junction with The Packway; (e) B3086 (Part), Winterbourne Stoke/Shrewton;from its junction with A344 to its junction with The Packway. Alternative route via The Packway (unaffected length) -B3086 -A360 -A303 -A345 and vice versa. To enable: Lovell Partnerships Ltd to facilitate utility diversions for multi-utility providers in advance of construction of anew roundabout on The Packway and prevent the displacement of HGVs onto unsuitable routes as a result of works on The Packway. The restrictions and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. These Orders will come into operation on 4July 2017 and it is anticipated that the restrictions will be required until 26 September 2017. The Orders will have amaximum duration of 18 months. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: C323 Rectory Hill (Part), West Dean;for adistance of approximately 100m covering the area of the level crossing to enable Centurion Site Services to carry out works on behalf of Network Rail. Alternative route via C323 Rectory Hill (unaffected length) -C323 Dean Road - Coach Road - East Tytherley Road - East Dean Road -C323 Rectory Hill (unaffected length) and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which previously came
into operation on 20 February 2017 will now recommence on 10 June 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be

required for one night between the hours of 23.30 -06.30 and again on 16 June 2017 between the hours of 02.30 -

05.30. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions.
Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although
delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months. For further information please
