I give notice that Charlcombe Homes Ltd is applying to Wiltshire Council for planning

the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of
which will be as follows:
Order 1 – To revoke The County of Wiltshire (Northern Wiltshire) (Off Street Parking
Places) Order 2015, to re-enact it in the above Order 1 and to make the changes as
follows; Corsham – to introduce a Sunday charge in Newlands Road Car Park, High
Street Car Park and Post Office Lane Car Park of £0.70 per visit. To introduce bank holiday
charging as follows: Newlands Road Car Park: 1hr - £0.40, 2hrs - £1.20. High Street Car
Park: 1hr - £0.40, 2hrs - £1.20, 3hrs - £2.20. Post Office Lane Car Park: 1hr - £0.30, 2hrs -
£1.10, 3hrs - £2.00, 4hrs - £2.70, 5hrs - £3.60 and All Day - £4.50. To change the current

Orders 1 and 2 – To include a definition of Electric Vehicle being ‘a vehicle in which the
electrical motive power is fully or partially derived from an electrical storage battery’ and
a Electric Vehicle charging bay being ‘an area of the car park, indicated by appropriate
signs & markings, which is provided for the recharging of Electrical Vehicles by means
of a Charging post’, all electric vehicles using electric vehicle charging bays must park
in accordance with pay and display parking and must at all times be connected via a
recharging lead to the charging post installed in respect of the parking place.
To include within the articles of the Order that where a parking place has the option to
obtain a ticket to cover a period of free parking, only one such ticket may be obtained
to cover that vehicle per 24 hours.
Order 3 – To amend The County of Wiltshire (Bradford on Avon) (Prohibition and
Restriction of Waiting, Taxi Rank Clearways and On Street Parking) Consolidation Order
2017 by revoking Map Schedule Nos EK20 and EL20 dated 16/10/2017 and replacing
it by the insertion of revised Map Schedule Nos EK20 and EL20 to change the hours of
operation of the residents parking on Frome Road and St Margaret’s Street from Mon-Sat
8am-6pm to Mon-Sat 8am-8pm.
Copies of the draft Orders and Statement of the Council’s Reasons for proposing to make
the Orders may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea
Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close
temporarily to all traffic: (a) Footpaths Chippenham 29 and Langley Burrell
28 (Part); from Hill Corner Road to Pew Hill, a distance of approximately 400m; (b)
Footpath Chippenham 28; from Hill Corner Road to Langley Burrell Footpath 36,
a distance of approximately 175m; (c) Footpath Langley Burrell 34 (Part); from a
point approximately 300m from Hill Corner Road for a distance of 60m; (d) Footpath
Langley Burrell 42 (Part); from a point approximately 380m from Hill Corner Road
for a distance of 130m.
To enable: Archaeological exploration and safe construction of housing estate and link road.
Alternative routes will be in close proximity of the closure points clearly marked and
fenced. The closures will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into
operation on 21 May 2018. The Order will have a maximum duration of six months.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close
temporarily to all traffic: (a) West Ashton Road (Part), Trowbridge; from its junction
with A361 County Way to its junction with Leap Gate to enable Tarmac to undertake
carriageway resurfacing work including installation of road markings and associated
works. Alternative route via West Ashton Road (unaffected length) – A350 – A361 and vice
versa. This Order will come into operation on 21 May 2018 and it is anticipated that the
closure will be required daily between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30 until 30 May 2018.

hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
(b) Silver Street, Trowbridge; from its junction with Church Street to its junction with
Market Street to enable Wessex Water to undertake pipe replacement works. Alternative
route via Church Street – Union Street – The Halve – A361 – Mortimer Street – Castle
Street. This Order will come into operation on 29 April 2018 and it is anticipated that the
closure will be required for one day between the hours of 09.00 and 23.00. For further

(Part) Prospect/Broadstone/Linleys/Silver Street, Corsham; from its junction
with Broadmead to its junction with Coppershell to enable Tarmac to undertake works
for carriageway reconstruction, road marking, ironwork and associated works. Alternative
route via B3353 (unaffected length) – A4 – B3109 – A365 – B3353 (unaffected length)
and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 30 April 2018 and it is anticipated
that the closure will be required daily between the hours of 09.00 and 15.00 until 11 May

Orders (a) to (c) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that
the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: (d) Coulston
Hollow, Coulston; from its junction with B3098 for a distance of approximately 990m
in a south-westerly direction to enable Eurovia to undertake works for carriageway
resurfacing, surface dressing and road markings. No alternative route is available. This
Order, which previously came into operation on 23 February 2018, will now recommence
on 1 May 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 3 May 2018.
The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months. For further information please contact

clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated
durations to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for
residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of
some of the works.
