Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Various Temporary Traffic Measures, Salisbury (OVO Energy Tour Series Cycling Event)
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to:
Close temporarily to all vehicular traffic: (a) Blue Boar Row; from its junction with Endless Street to its junction with Minster Street; (b) Queen Street; from its junction with Blue Boar Row to its junction with New Canal; (c) Minster Street; from its junction with Blue Boar Row to its junction with Silver Street; (d) Silver Street; from its junction with Minster Street too its junction with High Street; (e) High Street (Part); from its junction with Silver Street to its junction with New Canal; (f) New Canal; from its junction with High Street to its junction with Catherine Street; (g) Catherine Street; from its junction with New Canal to its junction with Ivy Street; (h) Ivy Street; from its junction with Catherine Street to its junction with Brown Street; (i) Brown Street; from its junction with Ivy Street to its junction with Winchester Street; (j) Winchester Street (Part); from its junction with Brown Street to its junction with Blue Boar Row; (k) Milford Street (Part); from its junction with New Canal to its junction with Gigant Street; (l) Endless Street (Part); from its junction with Blue Boar Row to its junction with Chipper Lane; (m) Trinity Street; from its junction with Brown Street to its junction with Gigant Street.
Alternative route: via Castle Street - Scots Lane - Endless Street - Salt Lane - St. Edmund's Church Street -Pennyfarthing Street - Gigant Street - Love Lane - St. Ann Street - St. John's Street - New Street. And to temporarily suspend the existing One-Way restriction on: (n) St. John's Street; from its junction with St. Ann Street to its junction with New Street.
And to implement temporary No Waiting at Any Time restrictions effective for all parking, loading and disabled bays on the lengths of road identified in parts (a) to (m) above.
These temporary traffic measures are required to safeguard members of the public and competitors whilst enabling the OVO Energy Tour Series Cycling Event to take place. The Order will come into force on Thursday 31st May 2018 with the exception of vehicles officially involved in the cycle race, vehicles being used for ambulance, police or fire brigade purposes, or the purpose of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, or with permission being given by a Police Constable in uniform or a Community Safety (CSAS) accredited marshal. Temporary road closures (a) and (b) will come into operation between the hours of 09.00 - 23.59. Temporary road closures (c) to (m) and temporary suspension of one­way (n) will come into operation between the hours of 13.00 - 23.59. Temporary No Waiting at Any Time restrictions will come into operation between the hours of 06.00 - 23.59. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Various Temporary Traffic Restrictions: Stonehenge Summer Solstice 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to: Temporarily close to all Vehicles, Pedestrians and Equestrians: (a) Byway 10 (Part), Durrington; from its junction with Fargo Road to its junction with Byway 12, Amesbury/A344; (b) Byway 12 (Part), Amesbury; from its junction with Byway 10, Durrington/crossing the A344 over to its junction with A303 (T); (c) Byway 12 (Part), Amesbury; from its junction with A303 (T) in a southerly direction to its junction with Byway 1, Wilsford cum Lake; (d) Byway 1 (Part), Wilsford cum Lake to its junction with Byway 11, Berwick St James; (e) Byway 11 (Part), Berwick St James; from its junction with Byway 1 to its junction with Byway 16 Woodford; (f) Byway 16 (Part), Woodford; from Byway 11, Berwick St James to its junction with A360, Druids Lodge; (g) Byway 11 (Part), Amesbury; from its junction with A303 (T) in a southerly direction to its junction with Byway 2, Wilsford cum Lake; (h) Byway 2, (Part), Wilsford cum Lake; from its junction with Byway 11, Amesbury to its junction with Hungerford Lane and WCLA 7FP at Wilsford cum Lake.

And to introduce a temporary No Waiting at Any Time restriction on the following lengths of road: (i) A360 (Part) Winterbourne Stoke; from its junction with A303 Longbarrow Roundabout to its junction with A344 (Airman's Corner); (j) A360 (Part) Winterbourne Stoke; from its junction with A344 (Airman's Corner) in a westerly direction towards Shrewton for a distance of approximately 1km; (k) B3086 (Part) Winterbourne Stoke/Shrewton; from its junction with A360/A344 (Airman's Corner) in a northerly direction to its junction with The Packway (Rollestone Crossroads). These Orders are made to ensure public safety during the period of the Solstice celebration at Stonehenge. Sections (a) - (h) will come into operation at 00:01 on 18 June 2018 and will remain in force until 00:01 on 23 June 2018. Sections (i) - (k) will come into operation at 06:00 on 20 June 2018 and will remain in force until 12 noon on 22 June 2018. The Orders for sections (a) - (h) will have a maximum duration of six months. The Order for sections (i) - (k) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: C323 Rectory Hill (Part), West Dean; for a distance of approximately 35m either side of the railway level crossing to enable Centurion Site Services to undertake maintenance work on the level crossing. Alternative route via C323 Rectory Hill (unaffected length) - C323 Dean Road - Coach Road - East Tytherley Road - East Dean Road - C323 Rectory Hill (unaffected length) and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order, which previously came into operation on 22 January 2018, will now recommence on 29 May 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required nightly between the hours of 23.30 and 06.00 until 1 June 2018. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months.
