Views relating to the planning applications listed below should be made by 26 July 2018 quoting the reference number. Section of the above Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Order will come into operation on 12 July 2018.
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Restricted Byway 17, Laverstock and Ford; from Footpath 2, Laverstock and Ford in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 1km to enable Wessex Water to undertake sewer installation works. Alternative route via Roman Road - Laverstock and Ford 25 -Winterbourne 13 - Portway and vice versa. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Footpath 10, Bulford; from its junction with the A3028 in a north easterly direction for 233 metres; Byway 12, Bulford; from its junction with the A3028 to Byway 2, Amesbury and Byway 2, Amesbury; from Byway 12, Bulford to its junction with the A303 to enable installation of new water main. An alternative route can be found for Footpath 10, Bulford fenced to the east of the definitive line. An alternative route can be found for Byway 12, Bulford and Byway 2, Amesbury via Amesbury Road. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 30 July 2018 and is expected to be required until 21 December 2018. Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 The County of Wiltshire (Various Byways and Footpath, Amesbury, Berwick St James, Durrington, Wilsford Cum Lake And Woodford) (Prohibition of Driving) Experimental Order 2018 Notice is hereby given that on 26 June 2018 Wiltshire Council made the above-mentioned Experimental Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months during which time consideration will be given to introducing a permanent Order. The effect of the Experimental Order will be to introduce a prohibition of driving for motor vehicles (except for access including agricultural vehicles, essential maintenance vehicles, emergency vehicles, vehicles associated with the security and operation of the World Heritage Site, vehicles associated with works and maintenance in connection with the A303, landowners and tenants and invalid carriages) on the complete lengths of Amesbury Byway 11 and Byway 12, Berwick St James Byway 11, Durrington Byway 10, Wilsford Cum Lake Byway 1, Byway 2 and Footpath 3, and Woodford Byway 16. Deposit copies of the Order, plan and Statement of the Council's Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the scheme may be seen at Amesbury Library, Smithfield Street, Amesbury between the hours of 2pm to 7pm Monday, 9.30am to 5pm Tuesday and Friday, 9.30am to 7pm Thursday and 9.30am to 1pm Saturday for the duration of the objection period. Documents can also be viewed online at www.wiltshire.gov.uk/troconsultations.htm. Wiltshire Council will be considering in due course whether the provisions of the Experimental Order should be continued in force indefinitely. Objections to the making of an Order for the purposes of such indefinite continuation should be made only in writing, via email to trafficorders@wiltshire.gov.uk or via the Wiltshire Council website stating the grounds on which they are made, quoting reference LJB/TRO/AMESexp: (a) within a period of six months beginning with the day on which the Experimental Order came into force; or (b) if that Order is verified by another Order or modified pursuant to Section 10(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, within a period of six months beginning on the day on which the variation or modification or the latest variation or modification came into force. Any person aggrieved by the Experimental Order and desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order of or the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) Shady Bower (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with Laverstock Road to its junction with Fowlers Hill; (b) Shady Bower (Part), Salisbury;
from its junction with Fowlers Hill to its junction with Milford Mill Road to enable SGN to undertake works to replace a gas main. Alternative route via Shady Bower (unaffected length) -Manor Farm Road - Riverside Road - Laverstock Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 30 July 2018 and it is anticipated that the closures will be required until 21 October 2018. Barkers Hill (Part), Donhead St Andrews and Sedgehill and Semley; from a point outside property known as Pembroke House, Barkers Hill for a distance of approximately 1.02 kilometres in a northerly direction to enable BT Openreach to carry out underground cabling and clearing of potential duct. Alternative route via Barkers Hill (unaffected length) -Green Lane - Ansty Lane - Britmore Lane - Church Hill - West End - West End Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 1 August 2018 between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 15 August 2018. The closures and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
