WELL, everyone, there’s only one thing to say really this week. And that’s farewell.
AS the mother of sons who left schoolwork and revision till the last possible minute because there was always more fun elsewhere, I sympathise with parents worrying about whether their teenagers will get to university or college.
HONESTLY, I cannot believe how a government led by a journalist got its messaging so muddled.
RIGHT, no excuses! No saying in several months’ time: “Ooh, I didn’t know about that!”
ONE thing I shall miss when the lockdown is over, and that’s the regular Sunday lunchtime gatherings (socially distanced, of course) in our little road.
