BUSINESS Through Referrals (BTR) is a networking group which meets on the first and third Thursday mornings each month over breakfast in Salisbury, with an early start at 6.45am and ending by 8.30am, so that members do not lose any valuable working time.
At each meeting one member has the opportunity to provide a ten-minute talk to the group and on February 19 Andrew Featherstone an award-winning property developer, will talk about how to attract private investors such as business angels.
After gaining a degree in agriculture from London University and an MBA from Southampton University, Andrew went into farm management.
After a few years he went on to lead overland expeditions across Africa and South America.
His next venture was to invent a revolutionary mowing machine before setting up his own building firm, operating in west London, refurbishing high value properties. Along with clients Jemima Khan and television presenter Penny Smith he purchased his first investment property in London.
Over the last 11 years Andrew has expanded his portfolio of properties for rental, now up to a current level of more than 150 units.
If you want to know how to attract private investors, this is a talk not to be missed. Anyone interested in attending should go to businessthroughreferrals.com.
