THE team representing Salisbury businesses has hired a new specialist to manage events in the city, including the Christmas Market.
Salisbury Business Improvement District (BID) has brought in Steph Shearing as events co-ordinator.
Salisbury BID business manager Steve Godwin said: "Steph has come in at a very busy time for BID.
"We are just over a year into our operation and things are definitely hotting up with a lot going on, and BID supporting many promotional activities in the city.
"Steph brings with her a wealth of appropriate experience, a lively personality and the enthusiasm to get out there and make it happen — just what Salisbury needs."
Steph has experience running a wide range projects, from small children's craft club to large-scale fundraising events.
She organised the 2014 ice rink at Wilton Shopping Village and the Colossal Cake Sale campaign with Help for Heroes.
Steph said: "I am very excited to take on this role at the Salisbury BID and I welcome the challenge of helping to make this year’s Christmas Market the biggest and best yet."
