THE Rose & Crown Hotel in Harnham has a new manager.
Former architecture student Jason Hodgson has taken over at the 14th century former coaching inn.
Mr Hodgson, 32, said: "The hotel is in an ideal location, being right opposite one of the most beautiful cathedrals in the country and also next to the River Avon.
"I am looking forward to working with the team at the hotel to expand its key markets."
Mr Hodgson became one of the youngest landlords in the UK aged 18 and worked in Leeds and Nottingham, before moving into the hotel industry.
He took a year out to design a pub and then worked in hotels in Sheffield, Matlock, Chesterfield, Grimsby and Stratford-upon-Avon.
