SOUTH Wilts Expo will return this year with the perfect opportunity for businesses to promote themselves.

The event will not only celebrate and support the thriving business community in Salisbury and south Wiltshire, but there will also be a chance to network with like-minded professionals.

Taking place on Wednesday, April 25, at Salisbury Guildhall, the expo will welcome some of the area’s most-high profile businesses, along with those that are up-and-coming.

During the day there will be networking opportunities, seminars and clinics hosted by experts in their fields.

One of those who will take to the stage is former soldier Jordan Wylie who, since leaving the military in 2009, has built a career as a maritime security and risk management consultant.

Mr Wylie will be talking about his book, Citadel - The True Story of One Man’s War Against the Pirates of Somalia.

It has also been confirmed that there will be speed networking sessions throughout the day.

The sessions will be run by Wiltshire College business students as part of their A-level courses and will be evaluated, with marks contributing towards their end of year results.

Refreshments will be provided for all exhibitors along with a free training session beforehand on how to get the best out of exhibiting, and how to make the most out of local media.

There will be 50 stands covering all business sectors in the area, and the stalls are already being taken up for the much-anticipated event.

To exhibit at the event go to Eventbrite and search South Wilts Business Expo ‘18.
