LEGAL executive, Angie Dooling, was the ideal person to win one of the prizes up for grabs at this year's South Wilts Business Expo.

Angie, who works at Salisbury solicitors Whitehead Vizard, won a flat screen with Nintendo Wii donated by Peter Staines, managing director of SMS Office Equipment and Computers DotCom.

She revealed she was about to buy one when she heard the good news. "I couldn't believe it when Peter phoned me and told me I had won," she said. "I have never won anything in my life. I was going to buy one for my husband, Mike, for Christmas."

Peter and his team demonstrated the proactive games' console at business exhibition Expo and dozens of visitors had a go at playing tennis, bowling, golf and baseball.

Then, all they had to do was to drop their business card in a container and Peter picked out the winner.

Peter, whose companies are gold patrons of Salisbury & District Chamber of Commerce and Industry, made the presentation at the chamber office last week. He said: "There were more than 200 business cards in the pot.

"It was good fun having the Nintendo Wii at Expo, and I am sure it went towards our winning the best stand award.

"It was part and parcel of our theme of business health and fitness."

The best stand award was judged by chamber president Ian Hudson and Design Types, last year's winner.
