A Salisbury independent shop will close for a revamp as part of a mystery BBC show.

The eclectic interiors shop Casa Fina, High Street, will close from Monday, July 19 until Saturday, July 24 for a secret makeover.

However, they can't tell us any more until the programme airs.

Chris Smith, who works in the shop, said: "We're in a contract with the BBC so we're not allowed to say what the programme is or anything.

"We will only be closed for a few days and will be open again on the Saturday.

"We don't know what the revamp is going to be, but it's going to be a new look.

"It's very exciting. It will be lovely to have a new look. We're quite a unique shop nowadays and it's nice to be able to offer a nice look.

"We're excited for the change."

The shop sells home decor, accessories and gifts, in contemporary, vintage and antique styles, and is sometimes called the 'prettiest' shop in the city.

It opened in 1983 and owner Susi Mason is also Director of Salisbury Business Improvement District (BID).
