A city centre coffee shop is launching its new co-working space this week.

Sonder Coffee, at 35 High Street, has announced that after many more months than expected, the space will open for bookings on Friday.

In the summer, the coffee shop revealed that it was working to turn its third and final floor into a new cosy co-working floor.

The business' new website will be going live on Friday for bookings.

The space has four communal desk spaces and three private desks, and people will be able to book in two-hour slots.

The whole room will also be available for companies to hire for use as a work space or meeting area for half and whole days.

The cost of hiring will vary depending on the length of time needed, but a comment says it will be £5 for two hours for an individual desk, and hiring the whole room will vary.

The coffee shop was also recently granted a license for alcoholic drinks, live music and later opening hours.

Sonder is open Monday to Saturday 8am-5.30pm, and Sunday from 8am-4.30pm.
