Three Salisbury independents are to feature in a BBC show hosted by Alan Carr - airing for the first time this week.

Casa Fina, on High Street, and Brides by Victoria, on New Street, and Annie's Just Jane, on St John's Street, will appear in this year's series of Interior Design Masters on BBC One.

The series is hosted by Alan Carr.

The shops will appear in episode four, airing on Wednesday (March 30), at 9pm.

According to Susi Mason of Casa Fina, details such as the designers who worked on each shop cannot be publicised until the episode has aired.

Her blog post about the experience will go live at 10pm on the website to answer any questions viewers may have.

There will also be an Instagram Live later in the week with the two designers who worked on Casa Fina, where people can ask questions to them directly about the programme, the shop's episode and what they thought of filming in Salisbury.

The shops closed in July last year for filming.

The show will involve a makeover of the shops and a final reveal.

The comedian and TV personality Alan Carr was spotted in the city centre in July, filming at Salisbury Cathedral.

On Instagram, the comedian posted: "Can’t think of a better place to sweat my tits off than in beautiful Salisbury."
