KLUDO Inc is set to reopen its doors just weeks ago announcing it had closed for good.

The owner of the Kludo Bar on the corner of Milford Street and Brown Street, Alex Nettle, has vowed that the bar would return to business.

Kludo director Tom Mundy told the Journal on Thursday, April 6 that the bar had "taken the tough decision to close [its] doors" after the struggles of Covid and the economic instability the country has faced.

However, Alex took to Facebook on Friday, April 14, to explain that the building needed some restoration work and said he is hoping to have the business open again by the end of the month.

Alex said in the post: “We’re going to do it bit by bit so please don’t expect it to look sparkling again overnight, but with your support and our hard work we will make Kludo great again.”

Alex further thanked his patrons through the years for supporting his business and said he hoped to welcome both new and old faces back to Kludo soon, as well as keeping staff who would like to stay on.
