A pizza shop company with headquarters in Salisbury has been fined for illegal employment practices, according to recently released government data.

The Home Office has the trading name listed as Domino's Pizza, and the liable party as Trading West Limited.

Team West Limited's address is then given as St Marys House, Netherhampton, Sailsbury, SP2 8PU.

Companies House documents state that Team West Limited had 440 employees and an income of £13.2m in 2022.

Domino’s clarified to the Journal that the location at 46 Fisherton Street in Salisbury is not operated by Team West Limited.

Team West Limited was one of 15 companies in South West England fined in the last quarter of 2022 for illegal employment practices.

Domino’s said: “We require the franchise partners who own and run our stores to comply with Government rules regarding their employee’s right to work in the UK.

“This was an isolated incident and this franchise partner has never had any previous issues complying with right-to-work rules. We are working with them to review their processes to ensure this doesn’t happen again.”

Update: A former version of this article said Domino's had neither confirmed nor denied whether the location at 46 Fisherton Street was operated by Team West Limited. Domino's has since responded that the Salisbury pizza shop is not operated by Team West Limited. This article has been updated accordingly.
