Aldi will be reopening its store in Amesbury with 1,269 sqm of space after a five-day renovation that was part of a £600m project to improve UK stores.

Aldi said the shop, which will reopen at 8am on Thursday, July 13, will offer increased retail space with clearer signs, as well as sections dedicated to fresh British meat and fish and a new ‘Food to Go’ section offering salads, sandwiches and sushi.

The bread and cakes section has been moved to the last aisle to encourage customers to pick their bread last and prevent it from being squashed beneath the rest of their shopping.

Aldi said the store will also include a new “Aisle of Aldi” with special deals on Thursdays and Sundays, such as kitchen items which will be on sale during reopening week.

Store manager Ollie Reeves said: “The store is looking fantastic, and we can’t wait to welcome our loyal customers back so they can see it for themselves. We’re committed to making sure that the shopping experience each customer enjoys in our stores is on a par with the products and service they’re used to.”
