Greggs confirms it will be moving Old George Mall location

The chain, which is famed for its sausage rolls, lunchtime deals and sweet treats, will be moving out of 2 Old George Mall to the store which used to be H.Samuel. 

A spokesperson for Greggs said: “Greggs is due to open a new and improved shop in Salisbury’s Old George Mall next Spring, moving from its current location in the shopping centre.”

The new shop will be larger than Greggs’ current location, with a sales area of approximately 832 square feet.

Greggs is moving to the old H. Samuel unit (Image: Newsquest)A planning application for the installation of two illuminated internal signs was submitted on Tuesday, November 21 and an application to “fit out of vacant unit to form a Greggs” was submitted on Monday, November 27.

The documents feature an illustration of what the new shopfront will look like, with two signs advertising the location as a Greggs and the replacement of some tiles.

The location of the doors will not be changed.
