TWO of Salisbury's food establishments received poor food hygiene ratings according to information published on the Food Standards Agency.

Food hygiene ratings provide scores based on performance in three categories - hygienic food handling, cleanliness and condition of facilities and buildings, and management of food safety.

The ratings go from zero to five.

YO To Go

YO to Go, a takeaway at Tesco Extra on Bourne Way was given a one-out-of-five food hygiene rating when it was inspected on Friday, December 8.

Hygienic food handling including the preparation, cooking, re-heating and storage was generally satisfactory. The cleanliness and condition of facilities and building including layout, ventilation, hand-washing, and pest-control was very good.
