A NEW Japanese restaurant is set to open in the city centre next month.
Mountain Spring will replace the former Jenny's Restaurant at 2B in Market Walk on May 1 according to documents submitted to Wiltshire Council.
New owner Shizhao Wang acquired the old bistro and applied for a premises licence on March 21.
Mountain Spring will open from 11am until 10pm from Monday through to Thursday and Sunday. It will stay open for an extra hour on Friday and Saturday.
There will be a maximum of 40 covers in the restaurant but customers can also have their food delivered.
The space has been vacant for six months after former occupant Jenny's Restaurant left to move into a larger unit two doors down.

Interested parties have until April 23 to make any representations about the premises licence application.
