A FLORIST championing sustainable industry practices, based near Salisbury, has been named the 'best' in Wiltshire.
Fig and Bramble, an online independent which is run out of a picturesque barn in East Grimstead, won 'Best Florist in Wiltshire' Muddy Stilettos award for the second year running.
The business in its current form was established in April 2023 after friends Adele Miller and Gemma Ward, who ran Dora Flora, merged their floristries after deciding they would be "stronger together".

Gemma said: "We're really pleased, it was a much harder-fought contest this year."
Fig and Bramble primarily focuses on wedding floristry but also sells bouquets online and offers funeral arrangements.
Gemma said winning the award is "really important" for the business especially since it focuses on sustainable floristry by using locally-grown flowers and cutting out single-use plastic.
"It's a big change the industry needs to go through," explained Gemma, who said sustainable practices within the industry are still an "outlying approach".
Feeling hopeful for the Muddy Stilettos finals, Gemma offered "enormous thanks" to her customers, adding: "We have really wonderful community support around us and it means so much when we know our lovely customers are voting for us."
A panel of judges will go on to decide the national 'best florist' in the final and the result of this is expected in July.
